This is an interactive story created by its readers and based on what happens after the Council of Elrond. It is assumed to be starting close to canon events in the book the Fellowship of the Ring and to take off from there.

As you read the story, each page tells one part of the story. At the end of each page you have to choose between two different story directions. Click on one of the two links to read what happens next. :) When you reach the end of the part that the readers before you have written, you can then continue the story by writing the next part yourself.

Hint: If you chose to write the next part, please write in Microsoft Word or some other word processing program and carefully check your spelling and grammar before posting. Please bear in mind all the things that other authors have already written in the preceding chapters and write your chapter as a continuation of theirs. Also after the story gets to be a certain size it is easier to view the story through the outline.
